How can the health professional or physical therapist come up with innovative ways to take care of patients during this covid 19 pandemic period?

What are the best ways to effectively take care of patients, giving them the best therapy they deserve while protecting yourself as a physiotherapist?

I asked this question in a previous post but you physios are still hesitant to share how you’ve been coping with dealing with old patients and newly referred ones that may or may not be victims of COVID 19.

I am glad to share that physio plus has put together an online physiotherapy course that will help you:

  • Identify at least 6 common complications of COVID-19 and critical illness.
  • Evaluate the use of telehealth and prehabilitation as 2 key innovative approaches to providing rehabilitation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Choose an appropriate set of interventions that could be included in a prehabilitation management plan of a patient.
  • Discuss 3 methods of ensuring continuity of care for non-COVID-19 patients during the pandemic

This is a 2 hour course prepared for Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, assistants, students and health professionals such as athletic trainers,
occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors. An electronic certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the course.

If this course is something you’re interested in taking, get more information here.
